Ukraine has significantly improved its position in international rankings in the field of technical investigation of aviation accidents

On January 16, 2020, Ukraine received the Report on the results of the validation assessment within the framework of the Universal Program of Inspections of the Organization for Air Safety Control of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO USOAP CMA), which took place in July 2019.

According to the official conclusions of ICAO, Ukraine has improved its position in the field of technical investigation of aviation accidents by 10 points and reached 60% effective implementation (EI). According to the ICAO Global Safety Report, as of April 30, 2019, the global EI in the field of technical investigation was 57%. Thus, according to the results of activities in the field of technical investigation, Ukraine has risen in international rankings above the world average.

The increase in positions in the field of technical investigation allowed to improve the national EI to 59.98%.
