Accident with An-26B UR-ELB at Ndele airport (Central African Republic).
On 10th of February 2025 at 11:1 UTC (13:11 Kyiv time), during flight UNO 328P en route Bangui – N’Dele (Central African Republic) an accident with An-26B-100 UR-ELB, International Joint-Stock Aviation Company “URGA” (Ukraine) has occurred. As a result of the incident, three out of six crew members (citizens of Ukraine) sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalized. The aircraft was performing a commercial cargo flight. During landing at N’Dele airport, the left main landing gear of the aircraft collapsed after colliding with a dirt embankment located in the approach path, which caused the aircraft to be excurted off the runway.
According to article 26 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, paragraphs 5.18, 5.19, 5.20 of Annex 13 to Convention, article 9 part 1 of Air Code of Ukraine, items 16, 17 of the Rules and Procedures for Technical Investigation of Air Accidents and Incidents in Civil Aviation adopted by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 610, dated 20.05.2022, in order to participate in investigation into accident, NTIB appointed accredited representative and his advisors.
